We lost our beloved Michaella
(Lucah x
Gracie) at 23 months old from a canine flu
type virus that went through her pack. Unfortunately, she was
not able to fully recover from it and it seemed to turn into
a massive bacterial infection that wrought havoc on her already
stressed body. The final pathology report listed it as Pyogranulomatous
(pus-filled white blood cells) Necrotizing (tissue-destroying)
Enteritis (throughout the entire intestinal tract).
Sea and Colleen, Michaella's parents, did everything
possible for this girl to have an enriched and fulfilling life
and she lived it to the fullest! Whether it be obedience classes,
rally classes, or in the show ring, Michaella threw herself
into it with an enthusiasm that was a sight to see. She was
a lovely girl with a heart as big as her spirit and a love for
her daddy that will be sorely missed around their home.
Godspeed Michaella. You taught us to live life
with enthusiasm and devotion. Your work here is done and we
are thankful for every day you graced us with your joy.
