Can.
Ch. Rainy Days Stellar Romance
"Lara"

Our
pick from Gracie's
last litter born on Valentine's Day 2007. and we are very
glad there was ONE girl in this litter of eight.
Her sire was Intl.Am.Can. Ch Stellar Enter Sandman RN CGC that
we chose for his impeccable temperament and presence.
She is our sweet spoiled child and it's very hard to resist her
just as it is hard to resist her mother. She thinks she's a lapdog
and will try to crawl up every chance she gets and she's a big
enough girl it's hard to convince her not to. Nonetheless, her
heart is pure gold and her temperament is steady and gentle especially
with children. She is a credit to both of her parents.
Lara
finished her Canadian Championship from the 12-18 month classes.
In October 2008, she suffered 2 torn muscles,
a tear in her joint capsule, and a stretched ligament in her right
rear leg and has been off the show circuit since then.
We hoped that she would be able to come back out in the spring
of 2009, but that did not happen. For guidance on how
to best help her, we turned to Dr Shaw at Back On Track Canine
Rehab in Portland OR and have utilized chiropractic,
massage, and specific exercises to help stabilize and strengthen
her hindquarter. It has took us 2 yrs, but it was worth it.
Lara
has been health tested for OFA Cardiac, Elbows, Patella, Eyes
Cerf'd clear in 2007, 2008, and 2010, cystinuria negative,
CMR clear, PRA clear by grandparentage, and does not carry the
fluffy gene. Due to her severe injury to her right rear leg, we
have not submitted to OFA, but we have had multiple xrays taken
and evaluated by both her primary vet and our Rehab Vet.
Lara
was bred to Ch His Majesty Rudolph Christmas Express "Rudy"(
MCOA Gold Health Award) and gave us 14 puppies that will
carry on with her legacy. You can view their pedigree
here. She has now been spayed and remains the perpetual Princess
of the Pack.
